Hi there! So happy you're here joining in on the Hero Arts blog hop fun!
I was so lucky to be able to work with some of my favorite products from Hero Arts' winter release!...The new Kelly Purkey planner stamps and inks!!! What! Yes, new inks and new planner stamps. Kelly designs the best planner stamps and I think you'll all be very pleased with these new sets. Plus, the inks. Oh, yeah. The colors are bright and happy AAAND they come in a new hybrid formula! This new formula gives you the best of both worlds....the vibrant colors you get from using a pigment ink mixed with the quick-drying convenience of a dye ink equals major ink pad heaven. I love them. LOVE.
And the new planner stamps. They're so good. The little icons have me hooked. My favorites of these newbies are the Kelly's Goal Planner, Kelly's Arts & Crafts Planner, and the Kelly's Doing My Best Planner sets.
Here's a look at the planner sets in action...
I love mixing and matching the stamps from all the sets. There's so much versatility within the collection and Kelly keeps coming up with new themes I didn't know I needed in my life. Basically, my collection of Kelly's planner stamps has got me covered so I can document whatever my plans are for the week with such ease.
Like this little pizza icon. How perfect.
Because I like to print photos and add them right into my planner using pocket pages, I 've been digging the black on black writing and stamping lately. To add just a bit of color along the edges, I enlisted the help of the new Hero Arts stencils.
Adding the shapes using my black pen and then coloring them in with watercolors using an ombre effect proved to be a quick and easy way to add a bit of flair to my planner spread.
The washi stamp and cut set has become a fast favorite. I like that I can use these stamps to fill in holes in the spread or even separate out events.
Be sure to head on over to the Hero Arts shop to pick up your favorites from this newest release before they're gone!
