Kelly Purkey Creative Team and December Shop Release
This post is pretty surreal.
I've been a HUGE Kelly Purkey fan since I started scrapbooking again in 2012. Back then, her stamp designs drove me (and, I'm sure, lots of others) to frantic online shopping escapades and wild, second market hunts. You can definitely say I'm a KP stamp collector.
I look forward to Kelly's new shop releases and love seeing what her creative team comes up with each month, so as I read her email, I felt a combination of disbelief and shock mixed with elation and excitement. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. Was I interested in joining her team? Um...YES!!! Hell yes.
So I'm thrilled to say I'm now a member of Kelly Purkey's Creative Team! WOOHOO!! I'm so honored and thankful for this opportunity.
Here's a look at the projects I created for the December product release...
First up is a pocket page spread.
I've been keeping my holiday memories in a separate traveler's notebook so this spread rounds up a few of the photos and stories from December that aren't holiday related.
I used the Today kit stamp set + cards and also, the Metropolitan Ave alphabet stamp set.
Oh, the circles.
This project makes me happy. It's exactly the kind of project that I truly enjoy creating. I find the repetitive stamping and sewing to be so therapeutic. Plus, I love using colored inks on projects. I don't do it often enough and I'm making it a goal in 2016 to do so!
This project uses only the Today kit stamp set, one journaling card, cut up, and a label.
Now this project...
I used the Chrysler building stamp from the I Love New York set to create a Spirograph-type image in my notebook. I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out, but I think the end result is pretty fun!
And lastly, this project showcases the Metropolitan Ave alphabet stamp set. This is a good one to have in your stash. It's one inch tall and on the chunky side. I love inline fonts and this one is no exception. Must-have!
Finishing off this spread in my December magic notebook is a vellum pocket on the right. It holds a bunch of extra photos and the cutest reindeer paper clip you ever did see.
So that's it! My very first Kelly Purkey Shop post!
I'll be sharing more inspiration and also, one last project that I'm working on finishing up, on my Instagram feed so be sure you're following me there.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
