Project Life 2016, Week 1
I'm happy you're here, joining me for Project Life 2016! (for more information about Project Life, click here).
Let's jump right in...
I usually like to use both colored and b/w photos in my Project Life spreads but this week, I ended up with all colored photos. Mostly because as I was editing and printing, I was watching a new episode of Suits (intense few weeks over at Pearson Specter Litt).
So, in an effort to try and keep the entire spread looking clean, I stuck with mostly black and white filler/journal cards, made using the stamps from the Kelly Purkey January kits.
Here's a look at the left side...
My new baby niece, Japanese mango dessert from Minamoto Kitchoan (so good!), cupcakes, the zoo and snow day!
And here's the right side...
A sunset, a blurry photo that totally captures the fun those three were having (Brett, my SO, insists that photo of our daughter is creepy), her first show, a favorite dress (ugh), crazy helmet photos!
And here's a look at the complete spread...
Repetitive stamping for the win!
Also, that bright orange color from the sunset photo. So pretty.
So, that's it.
I think I've finally figured out my "plan" for documenting in 2016. Not that I need a "plan" but I like to have a general idea and I'm pretty sure I've got a good grasp of what the year will look like for me, documenting-wise.
I'm hoping to get my ish together and have a post up about these documenting goals soon.
Tomorrow, I'll be sharing another project using the Kelly Purkey January products. Get your stamp block and inks ready!
